Background: I wanted an easy, simple way to track the worth of my crypto holdings across different wallets/services and I wanted to be able to do it without needing to give some unknown app API access to my accounts.
HODL Monitor is an open source progressive web app which you can use to track the worth of your crypto.
Youll have to manually add the name/quantity of your holdings but from there, the app will give you an easy way to view the current value.
The app relies on your devices localStorage instead of any cloud storage and the only data to leave your device will be the IDs of the crypto you hold in order to pull current prices.
It auto-refreshes every 60 seconds and allows you to locally backup your list of holdings so that you can use on another device or just save off in case you clear your localStorage.
There are no ads.This app wont be for everyone.
It doesnt provide historical analysis and if youre an active trader, you wont like the manual updates.
BUT...
if you hold a few currencies across a few wallets or services and want a way to quickly and easily see what your crypto portfolio is worth, this might be for you.
